Ok, I know that the GO FISH has some bad acting. I know that the lines are sometimes conscious and trying too hard. And I understand that some people find the actors to be unattractive. But here's the thing: every film made by dykes, for dykes, is a valuable part of our community, even those that make us want to cry (in a bad way). So that does not represent you and your friends. Ok, well, maybe you have not noticed that the dams are an extremely diverse group of people, so close and make yourits movies on your friends. And then everyone can complain about how it is not just like them.br / br / Maybe I'm biased because GO FISH was the first lesbian movie I ever saw in a cinema. Maybe I'm biased, because the fashion in the movie, horrible as it is, is exactly the kind of clothes that my friends and I wore in the 90's. But I'm a bit 'like this movie. Like it or not, a lot of dams are really mostly interested in sex and dating and finding someone to love. Is that bad?In my experience, ethers are not so different. And the cinema in the '90s was really into that "let's just show people how they really are" thing to remember Reality Bites? No one gets mad if people in movies straight talk and think about sex all the time: why should it be different dams? Br / br / Some of the things I really admire about this film: it honestly with the "when are you a dyke, when you are bisexual" question, has over a dam in naturecolor, has a family situation where the parents are ok with the lesbian daughter (her name was not really like Better than Chocolate), women are all normal bodied, with rolls of belly and hairy legs, just like Women I know who actually talks about safe sex (unheard of in film dam-catch you when Daria Ely gives a ziploc bag before its date? uh huh), and, moreover, the character of Troy is practicing safe sex message is most valuable to the banks. br / br/ So this film will always remain one of my favorites. For me, it marks quite a time and place in the history of the dam. And although I regret to say, apparently the 90 is now a part of history …. dam

Favorite Ever! – Future Rose Troche – Film Capital, World
Go Fish is one of my favorite movies, I've never seen. Its my movie that made me decide to go to film school. Rose Troche has become my favorite director. Send to poorish directors / artists to make black and white (used in BC was cheaper than color) a little 'Artys "and to make it work. I kinda love the first scene you see characters such as the brain are working.

I only did 15 minutes of this film before I decided it was not something I wanted to waste precious minutes of my life watching. It's BW, but there is no artistic reason for being shot in that way. The acting is horrible. The ridiculous dialogue. The cover is a very beautiful picture … Unfortunately this is the only good thing about this movie.
Worth seeing – Doreen Appleton – Scottsdale, Arizona
I saw this movie after turning off the ninth gate. Compared to the film Polanski tiring, I found this refreshing, invigorating. There are visual effects reminiscent of Godard, Bergman, Cassavetes, Warhol. Very interesting. Some parts were lame, such as the collection of female heads to discuss the prospects for the relationship between Eli and Max, but other scenes created to this.br / br / In one scene, the Talking Heads in debate what to call the genital female, and no one says that"word p". What surprised me.br / br / The film seemed a bit 'sterile' like Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing. N. bitchiness, not cruelty, not to steal the girlfriend of your friend … The Brotherhood hearted lesbian was a bit 'corny.
br / br / Finally, I ordered this film from Netflix, because I thought it was a film director who made a legendary lesbian in 1974. But his filmography says it is much younger. I ordered the wrong "Go Fish" by director wrong.
Relative but still not any Good – Sylvia Ricketson – Houston, TX USA
This film is painfully artists. It 'very early 90's "My So Called Life" Angst mixed with depression. More terrible acting amateur, and moments of cinematic cliches unnecessary fuss. I probably see this movie again, just because of my business. Overall, however, is not a good movie.
