I recently purchased a CycleOps trainer Fuid 2 and bought the block of rock climbing for use with it. Finally stabilizes the rig and makes it a very good training platform as you can ride as aggressively as you like and do not need to be interested in stability issues. It does what it claims to do very well. I was amazed by the size of this block. From the photo I though it was 6 to 8 inches in width. Its not its about 12 centimeters wide and about 4 inches tall. I know that some people have had a difficult time distinguishing which groove they were using to keep constant the tire. Here's how I said the difference between all three. I look at the yellow dot in the center and each groove has a height different from the yellow dot. Its pretty easy to see the difference between themand remember that what I used before. I am really happy to have this block and recommend it. My front wheel does not move at all, even when I get to split.

No matter how high the front wheel is, it will simulate a real hill climb because you do not work against gravity. One can only simulate your * position on the bike while climbing a hill. If you want to simulate the most important part of a climb, namely having to work harder to gain height, raises the resistance on your trainer.

I bought this to go forward with the CycleOps trainer because many who reviewed the trainer advised to purchase the product, too. She does keep the bike nice and steady and a good angle for my bike. One thing, however, has made my bike more difficult to obtain because it is higher.
