I installed two switches Intermatic (both ST01C – the white version of the product) – one to control the porch light (CFL) and the other for the control of lighting for something hanging over the fireplace (LED). One of these installations was single pole, while the other was for three-way switch.br / br / Both switches have worked very well, one for over two years, and the other for about a year. I have not had to replace the battery in both, Intermatic has a very good safety recordon them – even original.br / br / The installation is simple for the average DIYer, and the switch is easy to program. The switch can be controlled based on calculated sunrise / sunset (depending on the area of the country where you live), or preset time. There is a random function to turn the switch on / off at random times within 15 minutes of presets – to give a "live" look when you're away.br / br / There are over twenty individual or disable the controls that can be set – this is excessiveboth of my plants – in which I need only a single in-time and one-off single time.br / br / All this is great – here's one negative. The gain switches about 10-12 minutes every six months, which I fixed when switching to / from daylight saving time. This is not a big problem for my questions – but it can be for others.br / br /
